Why photography?
Photography is an art that has existed for thousands of years. From the camera obscura of ancient China to the smartphone of today, anybody can take part in photography, and everybody does! Through practicing the art of photography one can become in touch with not only themselves, but the world around them. Through studying the history of photography, one can learn how photography is a science. Through studying the physics of cameras, one can learn just how crazy engineers can be.
Why photosmarts?
Photosmarts is a site that aims to take the vast world of information on this subject and break it down into smaller, manageable chunks. doing so allows both experts and novices alike process the same information at the same level. While some topics may be omitted, this site provides information that will grant anybody the ability to be able to hold a truly educated conversation about photography!
